The ten most-followed TikTok accounts as of September 2026, ranked by follower count.
Quick answer: 1. Khaby Lame, 2. Charli D'Amelio, 3. MrBeast, 4. TikTok, 5. Bella Poarch, 6. Addison Rae, 7. Willie Salim, 8. Zach King, 9. FIFA World Cup, 10. Kimberley Loaiza.
TikTok has grown from a lip-sync app into the world's dominant short-form video platform, with roughly 1.7 billion users globally. Its follower rankings look different from every other social network: the top 10 is led by a silent-reaction comedian, spans four continents, and includes the platform's own corporate account alongside dance stars and pop singers. This list ranks the top 10 most-followed TikTok accounts as of September 2026, using follower counts from Wikipedia's list of most-followed TikTok accounts (sourced from Social Blade) and cross-checked against Dexerto's regularly updated tracker. It's for anyone tracking the creator economy, pop culture, or just wondering who actually runs the world's most viral app.
Khaby Lame has been the most-followed TikTok user since 22 June 2022, when he overtook Charli D'Amelio. The Italian-Senegalese creator's posts have drawn 2.7 billion likes — the largest personal audience on the platform.
D'Amelio held the #1 spot from 25 March 2020 until Khaby Lame passed her in June 2022, and she was the first TikTok user ever to reach 100 million followers. Her videos have 12.3 billion likes — more than any other account on TikTok.
The American creator ranks third with 140.9 million followers — 19.1 million behind D'Amelio and 45.1 million ahead of TikTok's own account.
The platform's own official account is the only brand account in the top 5, with 95.8 million followers. It is the highest-ranked non-creator account on TikTok by a wide margin.
The Filipino-American singer is the highest-ranked musician in the top 10, with 91.7 million followers and 2.4 billion likes. Her lip-sync videos were among the first to show TikTok could mint music stars, not just follow them.
The American singer and actress has 87.8 million followers and 5.3 billion likes — the second-highest like total in the top 10 after Charli D'Amelio.
The Indonesian creator is the only Southeast Asian in the top 10, with 87.2 million followers and 1.8 billion likes. His challenge and giveaway videos have made him Indonesia's biggest TikTok star.
The American digital illusionist holds 86.9 million followers with 1.3 billion likes. His Harry-Potter-style 'Magic Broomstick' video became one of his signature hits and a template for TikTok illusion content.
The tournament's official account is the highest-ranked sports account on TikTok, with 85.4 million followers and 3.2 billion likes. Its match highlights and tournament build-up content draw on football's global audience rather than a single personality.
The Mexican singer and creator rounds out the top 10 with 83.5 million followers and 4.3 billion likes — the third-highest like total in the top 10, behind only D'Amelio and Addison Rae.

Accounts are ranked by total TikTok followers in millions. Figures come from Wikipedia's list of most-followed TikTok accounts, which sources its data from Social Blade and is rounded down to the nearest hundred thousand; all counts are a snapshot as of 17 September 2026. The full top-10 order was cross-checked against Dexerto's regularly updated TikTok follower tracker, which agrees. Both individual creators and brand/organization accounts are included and ordered purely by follower count. Category labels (e.g. singer, digital illusionist) reflect each account holder's primary public identity; country reflects the account's listed country of origin. Follower counts fluctuate daily, so figures are snapshot estimates, not live values.
Khaby Lame (@khaby.lame), with approximately 162.9 million followers. He has held the #1 spot since 22 June 2022, when he overtook Charli D'Amelio.
Charli D'Amelio. She became the most-followed TikTok user on 25 March 2020, was the first person ever to reach 100 million TikTok followers (per Guinness World Records), and held the top spot until Khaby Lame passed her in June 2022.
Yes. TikTok's own official account (@tiktok) is ranked #4 with 95.8 million followers. Like Wikipedia's ranking, this list includes both individual creators and brand/organization accounts, ordered purely by follower count.
Follower counts change daily as accounts gain and lose followers, so the figures here are a snapshot as of 17 September 2026, rounded down to the nearest hundred thousand. Two independent trackers — Wikipedia's list (sourced from Social Blade) and Dexerto's regularly updated ranking — agree on the full top-10 order.
